Falkland Stampede traditions continue at Falkland School

Typically this time of year our community is buzzing with Falkland Stampede festivities. Our students and staff have fond memories of visiting the rodeo grounds as they get set up, dressing up as cowfolk and hosting a full pancake breakfast for our community with special appearances from Dennis Halstead, the Rodeo Clown. All these events in place to kick off the Falkland Stampede weekend festivities.

This year, our staff and students continued with tradition as best we could given the current Provincial Health Restrictions. Many cowfolk attended school this past Thursday, May 21st and staff provided a pancake breakfast for our students. Here is a little glimpse into the day. We all look forward to the day when the 102nd Falkland Stampede will be able to take place.
