Hello Falkland Families,

Parent Appreciation Tea – In appreciation of all the positive contribution from our parents and volunteers this school year, we invite you all to join us on Monday, June 17^th at 12:30pm for student performances and refreshments. Please CLICK HERE for more information. We have a special whole school performance planned. We hope you can make it.

PAC BBQ –Our PAC is organizing a year end BBQ for all Falkland School Families on Tuesday, June 18^th. Mr. Ward, our new principal will be joining us. Please CLICK HERE for more information. Really hoping we get a good turnout.

Canada Day – The Falkland & District Community Association is organizing a Canada Day celebration at the rodeo grounds on Monday, July 1^st. There will be food, music, kids fun, a show n’ shine and numerous vendors. The fun begins at 10:00 am and goes until 3:00pm. While this is not a School District 83 sponsored event, this should be a good time for our Falkland School Families.

Grade 8 Orientation at PVSS – On Wednesday, June 26^th Grade 8’s will get a taste of Grade 9 at PVSS. They will go on the morning bus leaving Falkland School at 8:00 am. It is important that they are on time. Mrs. Cull will be taking them for lunch and we will be returning but 12:30pm. Permissions form have been sent home and are due back tomorrow, Friday, June 14^th.

Lifeguard Needed – We have confirmed one lifeguard for our Fun Day on Tuesday, June 25^th but we still need one more from 10:30am – 1:30pm. If you know of a certified lifeguard that is interested and available please let Shelly know. We have secured a lifeguard for the Grade 7/8 Sleepover on Wednesday, June 26^th.

• Last day for students and support staff.
• Whole School Assembly (parents welcome) 8:40am
• Early dismissal 10:11am, Buses will make their usual stops just 4 hours earlier
• Written Summary of Learning available online for parents. Please contact the office if you would like a hard copy.
