Volunteers are also needed for the PAC Bottle Drive on Saturday, May 25th from 10am – 2pm. Please contact the office or Mrs. Cull if you are able to help with these school events.
Next year planning – We are starting to determine the configuration of our classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year. If you know you will not be returning next year, other than our grade 8’s, please let the office know so we do not include in our planning. Similarly if you know of anyone with school aged children moving to our areas for the 2024-2025 school year, please encourage them to contact our office to register.
Dress Code – With the warmer weather coming we would like to take this opportunity to remind you about our dress code. At Falkland School appropriate coverage is expected in all learning environments (playground, classroom and gymnasium). Students wearing clothing which is too revealing, including bare backs, bare midriffs, spaghetti straps, plunging necklines, muscle shirts, short shorts, or clothing not suitable for the task at hand, will be asked to wear something more appropriate, or be given something to wear. Underwear needs to be under your outerwear, and therefore, should not be visible. Footwear must be worn at all times. Inside shoes are mandatory for all students to be sure our school stays clean. Please ensure that your child is wearing appropriate footwear for outside time during recess and lunch. Flip-flops are not recommended.
Grade 8 Grad Planning – Our grade 8 grad celebration is planned for the evening of Wednesday, June 26th. The more parent help we have, the more opportunities we can provide in celebration of our Grade 8s and their time here at Falkland School.
