Upcoming Events – November 3
This information was emailed to families on Thursday, November 3rd.
Hello Falkland Families!
As the weather is turning colder, please remember to send your child with appropriate outdoor clothing for before school, recess and lunch. A reminder that inside days are determined by the principal and are usually put in place when colder than -13. Wind chill is taken into consideration.
Please remember to complete a Health Check with your child each morning prior to coming to school. If your child is sick AND unable to participate fully in their regular activities, please keep them home.
Once the snow arrives, crazy carpets will be available for student use. Please reinforce the following rules at home: one person per carpet, forward facing only, on knees or bottom only, take turns, path must be clear before proceeding and move out of the way quickly at the bottom of the hill. Thanks very much to Adina Strotmann (PAC) for securing and placing straw bales. Thanks to Bonnie and Mike Strotmann for donating them.
Our Lost & Found bin is overflowing with items, next time you are at the school please take a moment to look through the bin to see if anything belongs to your child.
