Welcome back! We hope you all had a fantastic Spring Break! The following message was emailed home to families on Thursday, April 6th.

Our Annual Spring Plant Fundraiser is underway. Orders are due by Friday, April 21^st. Please CLICK HERE to place your order online. In keeping with tradition, there is a prize for the student who has the highest sales. Plants are scheduled to be delivered on Monday, May 8^th (time TBA).

Information about Swimming Lessons for grades Kindergarten to Grade 3 has been sent home. Please put the following dates in your calendar, Thursdays, May 18^th, May 25^th, June 1^st, June 8^th, June 15^th & June 22^nd. Permission forms are due back to the school by Tuesday, May 2^nd.

Our next PAC Meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, April 12^th at 2:30pm. Please CLICK HERE to read past meeting minutes.

We will be having our first parent meeting for Grade 8 Grad Celebration on Wednesday, April 19^th at 2:45 pm for parents of students in grade 7 and 8.  Our Grade 8 Grad Celebration is planned for the evening of Wednesday, June 28^th.  Please save these dates in your calendar. More information to come.

With the warmer weather coming we would like to take this opportunity to remind you about our dress code. At Falkland School appropriate coverage is expected in all learning environments (playground, classroom and gymnasium). Students wearing clothing which is too revealing, including bare backs, bare midriffs, spaghetti straps, plunging necklines, muscle shirts, short shorts, or clothing not suitable for the task at hand, will be asked to wear something more appropriate, or be given something to wear. Underwear needs to be under your outerwear, and therefore, should not be visible. Footwear must be worn at all times. Inside shoes are mandatory for all students to be sure our school stays clean.

Also with the warmer weather we expect more bikes to be arriving at school. Students are expected to dismount their bikes/scooters/skateboards at one of the four openings in our chain linked fence and walk their bikes/scooters/skateboards along the pathways. Helmets must be worn. Bikes must be locked up at the bike racks. Scooters and skateboards can be stored in the office if there is no room in the classroom. Students are not allowed to ride their bikes/scooters/skateboards on school grounds during the school day. Students are asked to walk their bikes/scooters/skateboards along the pathway to one of the openings in our chain linked fence to leave the school ground at the end of the day. We ask that students not ride their bikes/scooters/skateboards in the parking lot after school if vehicles are still present.
