Winter Rec links have finally been sent to parents of students participating. We recieved the link this monring from Silver Star. Many appologies for the tight timeline. Please check your email and ensure registration is complete by Friday, Jan 13 at noon. A check list was included in that communication to assist you and your child in getting ready for Winter Rec days – Monday, Jan. 16th, Monday, Jan. 23rd and Monday, Feb. 6th.

Numeracy Night (scheduled for Wednesday, January 25th) registration is due tomorrow. Please call or email the office to register if you have not already. Babysitting will be available for non school aged children. Dinner will be served at 5pm. CLICK HERE for more information.

School District 83 invites you to take part in a survey to begin the process to renew SD83’s five-year strategic plan. Please CLICK HERE for more information and to access the survey link.

Today we had a Lock Down Drill that all students and staff participated in. The purpose of this drill was to educate students on what the procedure is in the event of a threatening person inside the school.  

With all the wet weather and icy conditions outside we are asking parents to make sure you are sending your child to school in appropriate clothing and footwear. Waterproof boots and snowpants or rainpants would be hepful to kepp your child warm and dry. We encourage packing a change of socks and pants for your child to keep in their backpack.
