A big thank you to Troy Ricard, Chad Graham, Jessica Orser, and Les Quigley from our Falkland Fire Department for visiting our school today. Students were very excited to learn about and tour three emergency vehicles for Fire Prevention Week. Students in our youngest three classes received fire chief hats, colouring workbooks, and crayons. Students from our three oldest classrooms received a pencil and sticker. All to promote awareness of safety and the importance of fire prevention efforts in our homes. Please take this opportunity to review your family’s fire escape plan.
