End of School Year Information

Dear Falkland School Families;
We are finalizing our attendance schedule for the final week of school, June 22 to the 25th. If you would like to add your child to the schedule for next week, please email scull@sd83.bc.ca.

Thursday, June 25th is the last day of school and is an early dismissal day. Dismissal will be at approximately 10:11AM. Buses will run as per their usual schedule, just four hours earlier.
We are hopeful yearbooks will be ready to hand out to students on Tuesday, June 23rd. If your child is not attending Tuesday, please contact Dani to arrange for pick up at the school.
Report cards will be sent home with students in attendance on Thursday, June 25th. If your child is not scheduled to attend, you can access your child’s report card on Parent Connect. More information on how to access your child’s report card on Parent Connect will be emailed home soon. If you would like a hard copy of your child’s report card from the school, please contact Dani to arrange for pick up on the afternoon of Thursday, June 25th or anytime Friday, June 26th. In place of our year end parent/volunteer appreciation tea, a special letter is being delivered and/or mailed home to parents expressing our sincerest gratitude for all you do in support of our school and your child’s learning and overall school experience. Thank you!
I am getting a lot of questions about what school will look like in September. I will be able to provide you with those details as we get closer to September 8th. Our next steps will be based on the recommendations of the Public Health Officer. Stay tuned for more information pertaining to the return to school in the later weeks of August.
